Well Well Well it's Christmas time!!  If you didn't get a chance to take your 2012 picture, come on down to the DMC pier, where I have set up a little Santa Photo shoot.   There are two Santas sitting by the fireplace, choose one, or choose both!  The one pictured above, talks to you! LOL !Touch the table for some cookies and coco, and the bag for a free gift! 

This is the other Santa...... let's just say it's Santa's twin brother! Sonto!  Well, surely you knew Santa had help getting all the gifts out around this great big world........didn't you?

A word of Sorrow from the DMC STAFF

       A moment of silence, please.  Just a pause as you happen upon this entry.  Thank You.  Although this is Second Life™, a virtual reality, and we are all just avatars here, the tragedies of the real world affect our world too.      

Authorities in Newtown, Connecticut USA responded to a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School Friday morning.  Police reported 27 deaths: 20 children, six adults and the shooter. Later, the authorities reported two more deaths, the shooters mother and the shooters roommate were also shot by the shooter before he unleashed his madness on 26 other innocent victims.... according to the Associated Press.

 
 On behalf of the DMC I would like to express our condolences to those who are suffering now because of this tragedy.   May the higher power of your faith comfort you in this darkest of times.

MEB fashion Show Hosted by Models Give Back

On Saturday December 15th, at 3pm slt, Modelsgivingback (MGB) will host another MEB show on our stage!!  Please attend!  I will be there, taking pictures!!

      Hopefully by now, you all have heard of the new Group "Models giving Back", which is a spin-off of Spirit of Canada (SOC) when it parted from SL in Sept 2012.  Jamee Sandalwood is now the CEO. 
      You may have also noticed, by now, that Models Giving Back, (MGB) are now located on the DMC land.  However, MGB, is a separate company from the DMC.  We are just doing our part to support their worthy cause.  
      Just like SOC, ALL MGB SHOWS are charity shows.  The designer, or designers donate their items and either portion or the full amount of their sales from the kiosks they set up at the show.  There are collection stands for you to make donates of any amount as well!  A large portion of the proceeds are donated to the charity of choice.

SPECIAL DESIGNER'S CIRCLE

The new location for our agency and stage includes a special area set aside for a special reception area with the show's designer!  The Designer's name will be shown in the silver plate at the base of the leaf decor.  The area will be decorated to reflect the designer, and Kiosks with specially priced  show pieces will be available. Music, dance, champagne and hop-hobnobbing abound!

A new semester begins

We at Dallas Modeling corporation take pride in our academy and its this pride that has allowed us to strive to create excellence within the virtual Modeling world we now begin our next semester with a group of students who will become some of our virtual worlds finest models as all of our past and present students have become.


Our excellence has allowed us to venture into our sister agency Dallas Modeling Corporation TinyTots our exclusive agency for child and tiny tot avatars  


This agency working closely with some of second life's top clothing designers for child and tiny tot avatars and some of  second life's  most experienced instructors breaks the barrier in how we see our virtual fashion world and allows us to step out of the box and bring new and fresh ideas to the virtual Modeling world.... keep an eye on posts on our blog and also join the inworld group DMC|TinyTots for more information.


We are about to Begin new university semester and also a new chapter in our agency and we know from our feedback and our support that our agency will remain second to none

OK so i know its a bit late for the post but bare with me I'm still getting used to blogging i sound so awesome I'm blogging :D

Anyways we had an awesome show on June the 9th where past and present graduates staged there own show with the help of Ms Suki Rexen CEO of Dallas Modeling Corporation and the awesome Ms AbbyRose Abbot and Mr Trym Glendevon Owners, Designers and CEO of Belladonna Couture who helped the show by supporting us with some awesome outfits from there new summer collection.

Also we where supplied shoes from MS Infiniti Mirihi Owner and CEO of Maryjane Shoes and we also had jewelry supplied by Zuri this made for an awesome show

So to all the graduates who created the show and to Ms Suki Rexen and to our wonder full designers and our staff in our agency i thank you and well done!!!!
